A very small software bureau
Small apps, big grin.
We make the sort of software that does one thing, does it properly, and then gets out of your way.
No dashboards to check. No ads. No newsletter you have to escape from. Just a couple of tidy little apps — one for your Mac's menu bar, one for your wrist — made in small batches by people who enjoy this sort of thing.
One job each. Done properly. Honest about limits. Fun is a feature. Small on purpose.
The current catalogue
Two apps.
Both quite good.
macOS · menu bar
CardSync
Slot in an SD card and your photos and videos walk themselves into Google Photos. It remembers every file it has ever sent, so nothing goes twice.
Take a lookWear OS · game
PulseMaze
A ball, a maze, and your wrist. Tilt your watch to roll the ball home. No phone, no thumbs, no waiting for a loading screen.

Something
new
There is usually a third thing on the bench, half-built, being argued about. It'll turn up here when it stops crashing.
The house rules
A bureau is
just a desk
with opinions.
Ours has four of them.
One job each
An app that does one thing can be understood in a minute and trusted in a week. Nothing here has a Pro tier bolted on.
Disappear once running
The best outcome for CardSync is that you forget it exists and your photos are simply there. Software shouldn't need attention.
Honest about limits
Every app here has things it can't do. We write those down on the page rather than hiding them in a support article.
Fun is a feature
A tool you enjoy opening gets used. That's the whole justification for this website looking like this.
